Ümit Özdağ shares sketch of his cell: 'I enjoyed the sun'

Zafer Party leader Ümit Özdağ, who is being held in detention in Silivri, drew and shared a sketch of the cell where he is staying.

Writing his feelings under the picture of his cell, Özdağ used the following expressions:

“Today, I used the 20-square-meter courtyard of my cell for something other than exercise. The sun was hitting one of the opposite corners. I put my chair in that corner and placed a small stool next to me. I brewed my tea, took some biscuits, and with Nazan Bekiroğlu’s novel ‘Nar Ağacı’ (Pomegranate Tree) in my hand, I went for a walk in the streets of 1912 Trabzon while the sun warmed my head and body.”
