Striking 'ISIS' warning from Ümit Özdağ! 'Secret in Turkey...'

Zafer Party leader Ümit Özdağ stated, “ISIS announced its Turkey province program in 2019 and moved its headquarters to Turkey. The most frequent operations conducted by the police, gendarmerie, and MIT are against ISIS.” Emphasizing that ISIS's actions have not ended, Özdağ said, "In fact, they haven't even started yet; they are in the planning phase."

Striking 'ISIS' warning from Ümit Özdağ! 'Secret in Turkey...'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ made striking statements regarding the terrorist organization ISIS's activities in Turkey.

"I repeat; ISIS's actions have not ended. In fact, they haven't even started yet. They are in the planning phase," warned Özdağ, and regarding the attacks in northern Iraq, he cautioned: "There is something beyond these tactical events. The PKK-YPG and the structures behind them have begun to implement a policy of pushing Turkey back from the Middle East and moving the conflict within Turkey's borders. Our interlocutor here is not the PKK or YPG, but the US and its Middle East policy behind them. The US must make its strategic choice regarding whether it prefers Turkey over the PKK and YPG."

Speaking to Saygı Öztürk from Sözcü, Özdağ noted the following:

“INCREASING THE NUMBER OF JIHADIST SALAFISTS”

“The primary target for ISIS is not Syria and Iraq. ISIS has now been tasked by its patron to create chaos in Turkey, and it is currently conducting infrastructure work for this. ISIS knows Turkey, measures the state's reflexes, embeds itself within society, and observes how the state reacts to events. How quickly the police intervene in an incident. It is increasing the number of jihadist Salafists. Between 1,000 and 1,250 people are coming to Turkey from abroad every day.

"ISIS HAS SECRET ARSENALS IN TURKEY"

Among those arriving are terrorists, drug traffickers, and unemployed individuals. Many of these foreigners, who have reached military age, pose a major threat to Turkey. A portion of those arriving go to major cities such as Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, and Adana. They have no records with the police or the state. Therefore, they disappear within the system. ISIS has safe houses, a secure network, and secret arsenals in Turkey. They are waiting for the button to be pressed.

ISIS has leaders and leadership cadres within Turkey. It still uses Syria and Iraq as a rear front. Previously, Turkey was used as a rear front. They carried out terrorist acts in Syria, and unfortunately, they were provided with this opportunity. Meanwhile, of course, these men learned the system in Turkey. That is, they had gone to Syria after the civil war began. They came to Turkey beforehand and had the opportunity to prepare for a more comprehensive settlement.”

“ISIS'S ACTIONS HAVE NOT ENDED, THEY ARE IN THE PLANNING PHASE”

“Of course, the police have things they know and things they don't. Among what they know, there are those they catch and those they don't. The police have different working methods. Sometimes they wait, watch, and continue to gather information and unravel connections. After an action, a general operation is carried out against all of them. But the issue is not what they know; the issue is what they don't know, and what makes the job difficult is that these people are not Turkish citizens. They communicate among themselves in other languages. There are millions of Syrians in Turkey, and their chances of hiding among them like poor refugees are very high. For example, if there were not 7 million refugees and illegal migrants in Turkey, could ISIS have moved its headquarters to Turkey? No, it couldn't have. Because for a fish to exist, there must be water. That environment must exist. No one has 'ISIS terrorist' written on their forehead. I repeat; ISIS's actions have not ended. In fact, they haven't even started yet. They are in the planning phase.”

“THERE IS SOMETHING BEYOND THESE TACTICAL EVENTS!”

Stating that the attacks carried out by the separatist terrorist organization in northern Iraq represent a transition phase from strategic defense to strategic balance as seen in 1991-92, Özdağ explained the current situation as follows:

“These attacks should not be underestimated at all… There is something beyond these tactical events. The PKK-YPG and the structures behind them have begun to implement a policy of pushing Turkey back from the Middle East and moving the conflict within Turkey's borders. Therefore, every day we lose, if we do not wage a strategic struggle in the fight against terrorism, it will benefit the PKK and YPG. In other words, saying 'We killed this many terrorists' does not solve our problem. We only ended the PKK terrorism towards the end of the 1990s once we had thoroughly exhausted them internally, moved the issue to a strategic struggle dimension, and were prepared to declare war on Syria. Now, it is time for us to move the issue to this strategic struggle dimension again.

Our interlocutor here is not the PKK or YPG, but the US and its Middle East policy behind them. The US must make its strategic choice regarding whether it prefers Turkey over the PKK and YPG. The aid the US has provided to the YPG is not for overthrowing the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria, but for launching a major uprising in Southeastern Anatolia when Turkey is destabilized through ISIS in the future.

“THERE ARE THOSE WORKING FOR FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS AMONG REFUGEES AND ILLEGAL MIGRANTS”

Among the refugees and illegal migrants, there are those who have not the slightest spiritual bond with Turkey, who may be secretly resentful, who are open to being bought, and who work for foreign intelligence services and foreign terrorist organizations.”
