AKP's IMM candidate Murat Kurum promises discount on transportation: 'We will implement it on April 1'
Attending an event organized by young people in Beyoğlu, AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum promised a 40 percent discount on transportation.
Continuing his local election campaign, AKP's IMM Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum attended an event organized by young people at the Beyoğlu Youth Center.
Making statements regarding the current agenda, Kurum answered questions from the youth.
PROMISE OF DISCOUNT ON TRANSPORTATION FOR YOUTH: WE WILL IMPLEMENT IT ON APRIL 1
Responding to a young person's question regarding the 40 percent discount on transportation that the current IMM administration has not implemented despite a council decision, Kurum said, "Our youth are a part of this city. We must keep the promises made. For us, a promise given is a matter of honor. Therefore, we will strive to keep whatever word comes out of our mouths, and we will implement the 40 percent discount decision on public transportation on April 1."
76 PERCENT LOWER IN DOLLAR TERMS TODAY
While the student subscription, which was 85 TL during the AKP era in 2019, corresponded to 14.65 Dollars, the student subscription, which has risen to 250 TL with the increased tariff today, corresponds to 8.29 Dollars.
