Archive bombshell at CHP rally! Bahçeli's criticisms of AKP back on the agenda
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel gave a sharp response to President and AKP Chairman Erdoğan's "octopus" analogy at the "Defending the National Will" rally in Antalya. Following Özel's speech, the CHP released a striking archive video featuring past corruption allegations involving the AKP and harsh criticisms once directed at the AKP by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli.
Speaking in Antalya, the latest stop of the "Defending the National Will" rallies launched following the arrest of CHP's presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel released archive footage in response to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's "octopus" remarks.
In the video prepared by the CHP, archive footage regarding corruption allegations involving the AKP was shown, while clips from speeches made by People's Alliance member and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli against the AKP during that period were also included.
