Fatih Altaylı's scathing remarks to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: 'Whenever the CHP disturbs the AKP, he spews all the malice within him'

Journalist Fatih Altaylı harshly criticized former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on his YouTube program. Arguing that Kılıçdaroğlu disrupts the party whenever the CHP displays a strong stance against the AK Party, Altaylı said, "Whenever the CHP disturbs the AKP, Kılıçdaroğlu stirs up the CHP and makes statements that comfort the AKP, as if he wants to spew all the malice within him."

Claiming that if Kılıçdaroğlu had remained at the head of the CHP, he would not have nominated Ekrem İmamoğlu in the local elections, Altaylı stated, "Because he knew he would win."

Continuing his remarks, Fatih Altaylı said, "If Kılıçdaroğlu is looking for a political future, here is my advice to him. You know, Devlet Bey has had some health issues. He should lean toward the MHP. If Devlet Bey says one day that he cannot continue, I would advise him to become the Chairman of the MHP for the continuation of the People's Alliance. Besides, he already has a very good relationship with Devlet Bahçeli. We know they were schoolmates."

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED REGARDING THE PARTY CONGRESS

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the 38th Ordinary Congress of the CHP, held at the Ankara Sports Hall on November 4-5, 2023, where Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu handed over the chairmanship to Özgür Özel.

The statement made by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office included the following:

'KILIÇDAROĞLU AND HAMZAÇEBİ SUMMONED TO TESTIFY'

"Following a report made to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office alleging that 'votes were cast in exchange for money on the day of the congress' at the Republican People's Party Congress held in Ankara, and after the documents were sent to our Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office due to lack of jurisdiction, an investigation was initiated by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in January 2024.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Akif Hamzaçebi have been summoned to testify as witnesses due to the statements they made in the press and on social media regarding the incident subject to the investigation. The investigation is being conducted meticulously.

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had previously made allegations of 'shady dealings' regarding the congress in question.

Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, in a broadcast he attended on KRT, had used the phrase "Silence is consent" in response to this statement.
