Footage of accident involving AKP deputy emerges

In an accident where a car and a light commercial vehicle collided in the Sinanpaşa district of Afyonkarahisar, 6 people, including AKP Afyonkarahisar Deputy İbrahim Yurdunuseven and AKP Provincial Chairman Turgay Şahin, were injured. It was reported that 5 of the injured have been discharged, while Yurdunuseven, whose treatment is ongoing, is not in life-threatening condition.

Near the Tınaztepe town on the Afyonkarahisar-Antalya highway, a car and a light commercial vehicle, whose drivers and license plates have not yet been identified, collided. In the accident, AK Party Afyonkarahisar Deputy Yurdunuseven, Provincial Chairman Turgay Şahin, advisors Hayati Kanat and Oktay Yüksel, the unidentified driver of the vehicle, and the driver of the other vehicle were injured. The injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances that arrived at the scene after bystanders reported the accident. Among the injured, Chairman Şahin, Kanat, Yüksel, and one other person were discharged. It was learned that the injured Deputy Yurdunuseven has broken ribs and his treatment at the hospital is continuing.

The security camera footage of the accident reveals the severity of the crash. The footage shows the minibus, in which Yurdunuseven was a passenger, colliding with the light commercial vehicle that allegedly entered the road in an uncontrolled manner, followed by both vehicles spinning out of control.
