Özgür Özel visits Selahattin Demirtaş: Arrives at the prison
CHP leader Özgür Özel has arrived at Edirne Prison to visit Selahattin Demirtaş. It is understood that in addition to Demirtaş, Özel will also visit former Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selçuk Mızraklı.

THE NOVEL "ARAFTA DÜET" WILL BE PRESENTED
It was stated that prior to Özgür Özel's prison visit, he would be presented with the novel "Arafta Düet" (Duet in Limbo), co-authored by Demirtaş and Yiğit Bener, along with a call to action text at the prison entrance.
WHY IS SELAHATTİN DEMİRTAŞ IN PRISON?
Selahattin Demirtaş was taken into custody on November 4, 2016, along with HDP Co-Chairman Figen Yüksekdağ and nine other HDP deputies, on charges of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "being a member of a terrorist organization," "being a member of an armed terrorist organization," and "committing crimes on behalf of an organization." He was subsequently arrested and taken to Edirne F-Type Prison. Demirtaş has been in prison for approximately 8 years.
