Visionary message to the youth from Erdoğan! 'Young people have a share in every success'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his message marking the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, said, "In building Turkey's future, we are resolving and permanently eliminating any problem that would waste our youth's energy or squander our country's resources through futile debates. We are working with all our might to fulfill our promise of leaving behind a peaceful, prosperous country equipped with high technologies for our youth."

The Presidential Communications Directorate released the message from President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. Erdoğan's message is as follows:

"My Dear Nation,

Valuable Youth,

Today marks the 106th anniversary of the arrival of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, the founder of our Republic, in Samsun to launch our War of Independence.

I sincerely celebrate your May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

May 19, which Gazi Mustafa Kemal gifted to the Turkish youth, is the date when the first step of the struggle for independence, which our ancestors began with faith, perseverance, and determination, was taken.

We, too, are protecting the homeland and the Republic that our ancestors left as a sacred trust, and we are taking steps to advance and elevate the Republic of Turkey, which will remain forever, in every field.

We see our youth not only as the architects of the future but also as the driving force of change; I wholeheartedly believe that the Turkish youth, who carry our civilizational heritage in their hearts, will leave the mark of the 'Century of Turkey' on the era we live in with their energy, perseverance, and dreams.

In building Turkey's future, we are resolving and permanently eliminating any problem that would waste our youth's energy or squander our country's resources through futile debates. We are working with all our might to fulfill our promise of leaving behind a peaceful, prosperous country equipped with high technologies for our youth.

We are providing opportunities for our youth to discover their potential in every field, from science to art, sports to agriculture, and diplomacy to nuclear technologies, and we are walking hand in hand with our youth to realize our ideal of a great and powerful Turkey.

We will continue to support every young person who works with perseverance to realize their dreams and who wants to further elevate the civilizational heritage they inherited from their ancestors without ever giving up.

By acknowledging the contribution of our youth to every success of Turkey, which is becoming a central country as it grows stronger and is consolidating its position with the steps we have taken, we will always keep our determination to work and achieve more for them alive.

With these thoughts, I once again celebrate the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, and I respectfully commemorate all the heroes of our War of Independence, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal."
