Warning from Şamil Tayyar: 'Time is short, there is no luxury for mistakes'

Former AKP MP Şamil Tayyar made a striking statement regarding his party's situation ahead of the upcoming elections. In a post on social media, Tayyar emphasized that issues such as economic hardships and a lack of trust are harming the AKP and stated that urgent steps must be taken for a solution.

"WE ARE IN THE FINAL STRETCH TOWARD THE ELECTION"

Using the phrase, "We are now in the final stretch toward the election," Tayyar warned his party. Stating that factors such as the economic crisis and lack of trust are negatively affecting the AKP, he said, "Hope for the future has diminished. We could lengthen the list, or everyone could create a new list from their own perspective. Ultimately, there is a tangle of problems in need of solutions, and palliative measures will not be a remedy. Time is short, there is no luxury for mistakes."

"THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT INCREASES THE POWER OF THE WORD"

In his statement, Tayyar touched upon the details of the AKP's problems, drawing particular attention to the economy. Stating that economic tremors during the 23-year AK Party government have deepened much more than in previous years, Tayyar said, "This time it has reached 4 years. The damage is deeper, the anger is more intense." He then added that the government's statements are not having an impact, saying, "In market terms, it is more important for the product to be marketable than who is marketing the product on screen. As the quality of the product increases, the power of the word and its supporters also increase."

Tayyar pointed to a series of problems the party needs to solve, starting with the economy. Referring to the economic tremors experienced during the government's 23-year tenure, Tayyar said, "Economic tremors did not exceed 2 years; this time it has reached 4 years." In second place, he stated that the political institution's capacity to set the agenda and produce solutions has weakened. He stated, "The political institution is not in control of its agenda, its capacity to produce solutions has weakened, and its course is being determined by external factors, primarily the judiciary."

"LACK OF TRUST AND SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS ARE GROWING"

In third place, Tayyar pointed to systemic problems. Stating that the malfunctioning aspects of the Presidential Government System have still not been resolved, Tayyar said, "The balance of state and social life has been disrupted, and hope for the future has diminished."
