Warning to AK Party from Oktay Saral: "Leaving Erdoğan alone is unacceptable"

Chief Advisor to the President Oktay Saral has most recently joined these discussions. In a statement on his social media account, Saral addressed the AK Party community and those who are devoted to the party.

Saral used the following expressions in his statement:

"While thieves, those who commit corruption, and those who are in open betrayal of the state unite in circles; let those who leave their leader, who runs with a love for the country, alone know that they have never been sincere, they have only chased their own comfort, personal calculations, and petty interests.

Today, no one who remains silent or plays the three monkeys in the face of dirty hands reaching out to our President, shameless slanders, and immoral attacks on his family can truly be a companion of our President. While the opposing side unites with alliances of evil and competes in filth, it is not an acceptable situation for the masses who defend truth and justice to remain silent and calm as spectators.

Everyone must take a stand. This is not a party issue; this is a matter of the nation's dignity, the survival of the state, and the honor of our leader! Everyone reacts to events according to their own heart, love for the country, and consciousness of the cause. Stance is everything.

In short; as our President has expressed, in the face of events, 'We will stand tall without being arrogant!' We have no situation to fear or shy away from. A stance comes with courage. Now is not the time to be silent, but the time to speak out against injustice and tighten the ranks!"

In circles close to the AK Party, claims had emerged following the recent local elections that President Erdoğan was left alone and that some names were preparing for the post-Erdoğan era. While these discussions led to a new mobilization within the party, Saral's statements also drew attention.
