'We are not people like you who have their son zero out money and live in palaces'
Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu addressed AKP President Erdoğan, stating, "Take your hands off the nation's throat, get back the 418 billion dollars from the 'gang of five'..! Collect the taxes you wiped out for the barons..!"
Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made a post on his social media account directed at President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has been targeting CHP-run municipalities.
Kılıçdaroğlu used the following expressions in his post:
Take your hands off the nation's throat,
Get back the 418 billion dollars from the 'gang of five'..!
Collect the taxes you wiped out for the barons..!
Municipalities are non-profit institutions that exist to serve the nation and make social life easier for the poor and needy.
While you could not even find and provide a mask to citizens during the pandemic, our municipalities protected and looked after this nation.
Trying to put CHP municipalities, where retirees, students, and the poor can catch a breath, into a difficult situation for your personal political plans, and the political acrobatics you perform for this cause, is a betrayal of our nation…
We are not people like you who have their son zero out money,
who live in palaces.
We are the people, we are the people...
We are the honest, calloused-handed, retired, and working patriotic people who pour our sweat into this land…
