Wife of former AKP provincial chair appointed as provincial health director
It has been learned that Eriş Başaran Akça, who was appointed as the Muğla Provincial Health Director, is the wife of former AKP Provincial Chair Gültekin Akça.
An unexpected change has taken place at the Provincial Health Directorate in Muğla. Ali Burak Mülayim, who was appointed to this position in 2022 and whose term had been extended until 2026, was removed from office by a sudden decision. He was replaced by Eriş Başaran Akça, who had been serving as the Provincial Public Health Director and Deputy Provincial Health Director.
According to a report by Sözcü, it has emerged that Eriş Akça is the wife of Gültekin Akça, the former AKP Provincial Chair who resigned from his post in November 2024. Furthermore, it is known that Akça opened the KADEM branch in Muğla in 2023 and assumed the role of provincial representative.
