Yavuz Ağıralioğlu sets a date for the party he will establish: Which MPs will join?
Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, a 27th-term Member of Parliament who resigned from his party before the May 14 Presidential elections, stated, "We will establish our party in the autumn. The name is not yet decided." Ağıralioğlu also indicated that there may be current MPs who will join his party.
Before the Presidential elections held on May 14, 2023, 27th-term Member of Parliament Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, who frequently criticized his party's position regarding its Presidential candidacy, resigned during that process.
According to reports by Akif Bülbül from Türkiye newspaper, Ağıralioğlu, while answering questions from a group of journalists, recalled that the AKP set out with the "3Y" slogan, symbolizing the fight against "poverty, corruption, and bans" (yoksulluk, yolsuzluk ve yasaklar), and said, "We will set out with 3A: Reason (Akıl), Morality (Ahlak), and Justice (Adalet). If the 3Y had been resolved, perhaps there would have been no need for these. The responsibility placed on our shoulders by a political journey that began with the 3Y claim is the necessity of 3A. We need reason, morality, and justice."
Stating that the party will be established in the autumn and that its name has not yet been finalized, Ağıralioğlu also expressed that there could be names among current MPs in the new party to be established.
Journalist İsmail Saymaz said the following regarding the party Ağıralioğlu will establish:
''Yavuz Ağıralioğlu has rented the party headquarters on Turhan Güneş Boulevard in Ankara.
The party's establishment petition will be submitted in the autumn.
The names being discussed are:
Güçlü Parti (Strong Party), Atılım Partisi (Leap Party), AY Parti, AL Parti.''
