'Yeliz' is back on stage... Blamed 'Atatürk' for the wars!

Ahmet Hamdi Çamlı, known by the code name Yeliz, has drawn significant backlash with his latest statements. Çamlı linked the wars and global conflicts in the Islamic world to the Republican People's Party (CHP) and the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Targeting the events that followed the abolition of the Caliphate in particular, Çamlı stated, "If the Caliphate had not been abolished, the Islamic world would not be groaning under Crusader-Zionist domination." This statement has sparked a major debate both historically and politically.

TARGETED ATATÜRK

Criticizing the role of the CHP and Atatürk, Çamlı said, "If the Caliphate had not been abolished, the Islamic world would not be in such disaster today." This statement caused a major stir on social media and in the public eye.

FIRST REACTION CAME FROM BOZKURT

The first reaction to Çamlı's statements came from the President of the Atatürkist Thought Association, Hüsnü Bozkurt. Responding to Çamlı in harsh terms, Bozkurt said, "Yeliz... Oh Yeliz... You were considered a man and became a member of parliament thanks to the Atatürk you insult." Reminding Çamlı of history, Bozkurt drew attention to the difficulties in the final period of the Ottoman Empire after the abolition of the Caliphate. Bozkurt stated, "Before the Caliphate was abolished, the capital Istanbul had been occupied. The children of the nation were fighting in blood and gore, while the Caliph was enjoying himself in his palace."

Criticizing Yeliz's statements, Bozkurt added, "Vahdettin had 4 wives and, despite being 61 years old, was entering his 5th marriage with 19-year-old Nimet Nevzat Hanım. Yeliz, who does not worry about these things, is only deepening his ignorance."
