Yeniden Refah Party's Istanbul candidate is Mehmet Altınöz, Ankara candidate is Suat Kılıç!

Following 5 meetings between the AKP and the Yeniden Refah Party, no alliance was reached in Istanbul, Ankara, or İzmir.

YRP Chairman Fatih Erbakan announced that they would field candidates in these 3 metropolitan cities.

Highlights from Erbakan's statements are as follows:

"I pray to God that this event, held to introduce our candidates for the March 31 local elections and to declare our local election manifesto, will lead to the greatest victories. May our struggle be blessed.

Those in this hall are the soldiers of this cause who have grown our party from 260 thousand to 450 thousand in a period of just 5 months. We do not provide these soldiers of the cause with official vehicles, we do not pay them salaries. On top of that, they spend their own money and endure financial and moral burdens.

Is there any other party in Turkey or the world that is growing by over 80 percent?

The 54th Government went down in history as the most successful government in the history of the Republic.

'Rent-seeking municipalism' means plunging the municipal budget into a debt trap. Rent-seeking municipalism tenders a 3-lira job for 10 liras and finances its relatives with the difference. In rent-seeking municipalism, cronyism and nepotism prevail. It produces rent by destroying greenery and history. Their only concern is to obtain rent. Rent-seeking municipalism does not think about the state of the citizen or the city, but about the official vehicle.

CRITICISM OF MUNICIPALISM

Beyond rent-seeking municipalism, the second understanding of municipalism is 'statue-making municipalism'. The bribery and plunder in rent-seeking municipalism continue in statue-making municipalism as well.

The third understanding of municipalism is 'organizational municipalism'. Organizational municipalism prioritizes the interests of the organization, not the citizen. Organizational municipalism is a trench dug against the nation.

These 3 types of municipalism are a moral problem. Our nation has gone to find the 'lesser of two evils' instead of finding the good.

With all these distorted understandings of municipalism, parks have been infected by drug gangs and the LGBT virus has infected the municipal budget. Green has turned into a colorless gray.

"MORAL MUNICIPALISM"

As the YRP, we say that the time for these 3 understandings of municipalism has come to an end. Now is the time for the National View (Milli Görüş). Now is the time for moral municipalism. Some are after rent, some are after statues, and some are after opening space for their organization. Today, our nation is facing very serious problems regarding municipalism. The National View is ready today with its faithful cadres to introduce our nation to moral municipalism.

The time for moral municipalism has come. It is a step taken while considering what the reward for this step will be in the afterlife. It is a mayor who observes the rights of the people and justice.

It means feeling the pain of every member of the nation, from the homeless sleeping on the streets. It is meritocracy; it is municipalism that acts not by asking 'is this person someone I like?' but by asking 'is this person qualified for this job?'.

Moral municipalism is effort. It is being awake while everyone else is asleep, working, and being a remedy for the nation's troubles. The soldiers of the National View cause who fill this hall will open a brand new page with the success they will achieve on March 31.

Now, together, we say: 'Come on, we are starting.'

CHILDREN AND YOUTH

We will provide free meal support to our children. Our children living in our cities cannot run and play due to their parents' security concerns. We will build the most spacious children's parks in all our neighborhoods. We will choose from the most advanced and modern toys.

We will encourage sports with the sports schools we will establish. For this reason, we will take all children who are forced to live on the streets under protection.

Like our children, our youth are also very important. As the YRP, the political party with the youngest average age, serving our youth is our primary duty. As YRP-run municipalities, we will provide socialization opportunities in youth centers.

With this card worth 500 TL per month for artistic projects such as theater, concerts, and cinema, which have been promised to our youth for years, our youth will be able to go to either the cinema or the theater.

DRIFT PROMISE

Turkey is one of the countries with the highest youth unemployment. We will establish youth libraries in every city where our youth can read books.

We will provide a 25 percent discount on natural gas and water bills for youth within the borders of YRP-run municipalities who show their rental contracts.

We will put our sports schools into action to keep our youth away from drugs. There will be opportunities to hold tournaments in e-sports schools. We will open advanced driving tracks for our youth who want to drive cars. We will ensure that our youth can realize the excitement of drifting, which is becoming more and more common among them, on advanced driving tracks. Our youth will satisfy their passion for speed on these tracks without being hindered.

We will establish Refah children's nurseries for women going to work in metropolitan cities. We will also provide this service for free to those who cannot afford it.

THE ELDERLY AND THE DISABLED

I am addressing our elderly from here. YRP-run municipalities are your own true children. We will be the children of our elderly over the age of 65 who are struggling with age-related illnesses. We will go to the grocery store and the bakery.

In the cities of YRP-run municipalities, all our elderly will receive service like our own mothers. We will establish nursing homes. We will carry out their services, including health check-ups. Our employees at the elderly care centers will also go to the homes of the bedridden elderly to provide their services.

We will provide support for rent payments to our elderly who have no income other than their retirement pension.

Our barrier-free city office will be taken care of by our professional staff, from transportation to health and personal care.

We will work to make our cities barrier-free cities. The quality of systems that facilitate their access to public transportation will be increased. We will increase the employment of disabled people in the establishment of YRP-run municipalities.

PROMISES IN METROPOLITAN CITIES

We will revive the 'White Desks' (Beyaz Masa), which were implemented among Refah Party municipalities in 1994, as 'Refah Desks'. We will increase green spaces and parks in our cities buried in concrete. We will place sports equipment in these parks. They will be designed in the best way, down to the children's playgrounds.

We will increase the number of air pollution measurement stations in all our municipalities. We will inspect them in the strictest way and increase the penalties. Refah-run municipalities will also solve the traffic problem. We will rapidly put our new bus, metro, and tram lines into service.

We will equip our roads with barriers for motorcycle couriers in our metropolitan cities. We will also bring motorcycle parking lots to our cities. We will develop bicycle paths as they are in the metropolises of developed countries.

We will make use of rainwater in areas where water is used heavily. As YRP-run municipalities, we will encourage recycling. We will solve the problem of stray animals that threaten lives almost every day in our cities today.

STRAY ANIMALS

We will build shelters. We will assign a sufficient number of veterinarians to our shelters. We will collect and neuter all animals. Anyone who wishes will be able to watch the living conditions in these shelters live over the internet.

URBAN TRANSFORMATION

We will never allow urban transformation that forces migration. Along with the transformation of housing, we will also include infrastructure issues in the transformation. In superstructures, we will prioritize the city having more green space.

We will produce quality cities that are earthquake-resistant and have aesthetics and identity.

"WE WILL CLOSE LGBT ASSOCIATIONS"

O our noble nation, attacked by perverse organizations, fighting against LGBT perversion is a debt of honor for the YRP. We will oppose the genderless society plans of global powers. We will not sacrifice our youth to these LGBT lobbies that lead to the corruption of our generations. We will take steps to cut off their propaganda and advertising activities. We will close gender equality offices one by one. In 2028, we will close all LGBT associations one by one.

3 METROPOLITAN CITIES

I invite our İzmir candidate, where we threw the invaders into the sea. Our İzmir candidate is Cemal Arıkan.

The candidate for Ankara, the capital of the national struggle, is Suat Kılıç.

In our Istanbul, the capital of the world, the Ottoman seat of government, our Mehmet will also conquer Istanbul. Our Istanbul candidate is Mehmet Altınöz.

12PUNTO HAD ANNOUNCED

Speaking to 12punto, Yeniden Refah Party's Istanbul candidate Mehmet Altınöz stated that President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has a debt of "loyalty," saying, "The AK Party already lost Istanbul and Ankara in the 2019 local elections. They will lose in 2024 as well. Let them not lose, let them support the Yeniden Refah Party. Let this alliance happen in Istanbul and Ankara under the roof of the Yeniden Refah Party."

However, no alliance emerged from the 5 meetings held between the YRP and the AKP.
