Yeniden Refah Party Malatya Provincial Chair Bilal Yıldırım announced his resignation from his post in a post on his social media account.
Yıldırım announced the resignation with the following words:
To the Malatya Public; I began my political life, which I saw as a means to do good things for my country and my nation, thanks to our late Erbakan Hodja. Throughout my political tenure, I did not compromise on acting according to the principle of our Erbakan Hodja: "Whatever I did, I did for the sake of Allah." I express my gratitude to my party and my fellow cause members who gave me the opportunity to serve during the time I fought while always aiming for the better... I was honored to demonstrate the principles of fairness, transparency, and impartiality in an equitable manner, to provide a humble environment based on love and respect; and to try to embrace all segments of our Malatya people by placing human beings and human dignity at the focal point of our service philosophy. With the hope that hopes are not exhausted, that new springs are coming, and that every seed that falls into the soil will surely sprout again one day, I promise that I will not leave our Malatya people, who showed favor to me to heal the wounds of the February 6 earthquake, alone. On this occasion, I am currently continuing my duty as the Provincial Chair of the Yeniden Refah Party. However, I have requested to be relieved of my duties from our Headquarters, stating that 'I can no longer carry out my role as Malatya Provincial Chair.' With the peace of mind that comes from following in the footsteps of our Erbakan Hodja by saying goodbye with grace, courtesy, and manners; I will continue to defend our cause by producing, increasing employment, and most importantly, by observing the pleasure of Allah.
THIS IS NOT A RESIGNATION, IT IS A RELINQUISHMENT OF DUTY.
