Yeniden Refah rejects AKP's congress invitation!

Yeniden Refah Party Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç made a statement regarding the decision on participation in the AKP's 8th Ordinary Congress during a press conference held at his party's headquarters.

Asking, "Are we going to attend to say 'well done' and 'congratulations' for seizing the municipalities you couldn't win at the ballot box at the negotiating table?" Kılıç stated the following:

'WHY WOULD WE ATTEND?'

"As the Yeniden Refah Party, we have decided not to attend the AK Party's 8th Ordinary Congress. Even on the Wednesday they sent the invitation for the 8th Ordinary Congress, AK Party badges were pinned onto the lapels of 6 mayors who were poached from our party through midnight operations during the TBMM group meeting, by Mr. Erdoğan himself.
In this situation, why would we attend the AK Party Congress? To say 'well done' and 'congratulations' for seizing the municipalities you couldn't win at the ballot box at the negotiating table?
As the Yeniden Refah Party, we will not fall into the second-hand market of politics, and we will not walk the path with those who do. As the Yeniden Refah Party community, we continue and will continue to march toward power step by step with our honest, principled, and moral understanding of politics against the usurpation of the national will that is taking place before the eyes of the nation."
