Election emphasis from Zafer Party leader Ümit Özdağ! 'We will be ready for the election on the streets'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ delivered a speech at his party's 2nd Ordinary Istanbul Provincial Congress held in Küçükçekmece. Speaking about the early election agenda, Özdağ stated that they would be ready for the election whenever it takes place.

Expressing that as an organization they will organize the public on the streets, in the markets, and in the fields to win them over to the Zafer Party, Ümit Özdağ stated that organizing is done by loving the people, respecting their thoughts, and listening to them.

Özdağ said the following in his statement:

"If you love the people, the people will love you too. The people know and do not like those who look down on them. We cannot advance to victory without walking the streets, without talking to grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, and uncles, and without asking how they are. No position we hold elevates us. What will elevate the position is the love the people have for us, and this happens by constantly staying in touch with the people and showing our presence on the streets, and we will do this all together. It is stated that the elections will be in 2028. Whenever it happens, we will be ready for the election on the streets after our grand congress. We are not in parliament, but we will turn all of Turkey, the streets, and the squares into a parliament."

Stating that they cannot win a victory without effort, Özdağ expressed that they cannot reach victory without making sacrifices.

Noting that they will continue to do so from now on, Özdağ said, "The point we have reached is important. We all see this. For over 3 years, under difficult conditions and under attacks, we have reached a point by digging with our fingernails; we have reached a good point. Let me be clearer. Let's go to the polls this Sunday. Victory is in parliament. We have no problem there. But it is not enough."

Stating that the Zafer Party is not a system party where a struggle for political rent, positions, or status is waged, Özdağ used the expression, "The Zafer Party is the Kuvayımilliye where true idealists struggle to ensure the rights, welfare, sovereignty, and security of the Turkish nation."
