Changes to Quran printing and publishing criteria published in the Official Gazette
A regulation regarding the amendment of the printing and publishing criteria for the Quran by the Presidency of Religious Affairs has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, for works of foreign origin printed in Turkey and works to be imported from abroad, the responsible person or organization must obtain a permit certificate from the board, provided that they are not sold domestically.
The Presidency of Religious Affairs may request that the relevant institutions inspect the permit issued by the board during the import and export of these works.
Works without a permit certificate will be subject to proceedings in accordance with the provisions of Article 11 of the relevant law.
