Communications Director Fahrettin Altun announced that the midnight price hikes on bridges and highways have been postponed to January 2024.
Communications Director Fahrettin Altun made a statement on his social media account regarding the midnight price hikes on bridges and highways.
Altun stated the following:
"For public information
The regulation on highway and bridge toll fees, which took effect on October 25, has been postponed to January 2024 upon the instructions of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The difference in toll fees collected on October 25 (today) will be refunded to our citizens."

With the price hike, the one-way toll for the 15 July Martyrs Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge had been increased from 8.5 TL to 15 TL.
