IMM to hire 1,532 civil servants: Application dates and requirements announced

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will hire 1,532 civil servants.

In a statement released by the municipality, it was stated that recruitment will be carried out for 785 firefighters, 315 municipal police officers, and 432 civil servant positions in other titles.

The statement noted that applications will be made via e-Devlet between February 10-16, and emphasized that candidates can only apply for one position.

The statement further indicated that candidates will be ranked according to their Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) scores, and that five times the number of vacant positions for each title will be called for the exam.

The following was noted in the statement:

"Firefighter and municipal police officer candidates will participate in written and practical exams. Before the practical exam, candidates' height and weight measurements will be taken. Those who do not meet the requirements will not be admitted to the exam, and legal action will be initiated against candidates who provide false statements. Applications made with incomplete or incorrect information will not be processed. The list of those who will participate in the exam will be announced on the official website of the IMM on February 24, 2025. Candidates will be able to access their exam entry documents via e-Devlet."
