Irregularities in public tenders: 3 companies banned for one year
Following an investigation conducted by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, three companies and their partners found to have committed irregularities in public tenders have been banned from participating in all public tenders for a period of one year.
Irregularities identified in the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) General Directorate's tender numbered 2025/469570 have led to serious sanctions for the firms involved. As a result of the violations in the tender in question, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has banned three companies and their partners from public tenders in accordance with the Public Procurement Contracts Law No. 4735.
According to official records, the firms covered by the ban decision are the Diyarbakır-based New Megapol İnşaat Limited Şirketi, the Istanbul-based Tekkon Konfeksiyon Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, and the Nevşehir-based Teknobis Bilişim Bilgisayar Sistemleri Limited Şirketi. Under the decision, these companies and their partners will be unable to participate in any tenders opened by public institutions for one year.
The ban imposed by the Ministry was implemented as a result of irregularities and violations that emerged during the process initiated by the TPAO General Directorate, which was the executor of the tender. This decision, issued in accordance with Law No. 4735, has been notified to all relevant public institutions and organizations through official systems. As of the date the ban process began, information regarding the specified companies was also shared with units that provide access to public tenders.
