Meteorology issues yellow code warning for 5 provinces
According to the report published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is coming under the influence of rainy weather. A yellow code warning has been issued for 5 provinces.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that temperatures across the country will drop by 9 degrees and precipitation will increase.
HEAVY RAIN IS RETURNING
The precipitation will particularly affect the western part of the Marmara region. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the northern and western districts of Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ. Precipitation will also begin after nighttime hours in the vicinity of Çanakkale and the western coastal districts of Balıkesir.
In Istanbul, where temperatures reached 20 degrees today, the temperature will drop by 9 degrees tomorrow, falling to 11 degrees. The rainy weather will spread toward the inner and eastern parts of the country starting Monday. Snowfall is expected in the high altitudes of the Black Sea region starting Wednesday.
WARNING FOR THOSE PROVINCES
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a yellow code warning for Çanakkale, Edirne, Istanbul, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ due to the expectation of heavy rain tomorrow.
