Ministry of Trade issues warning: Unsafe products are being removed from the market
In a statement issued on May 20, 2025, the Ministry of Trade announced that two household products are being recalled from the market due to safety risks.
The Ministry stated that "Rumex" brand foldable tables were found to be unsafe due to structural issues. Inspections revealed that the open-ended pipes and sharp edges located under the tables pose a serious risk of injury. Consequently, it was decided to withdraw the products from the market.

On the other hand, "Aslan" brand small step stools were also found to be dangerous in terms of child safety. Tests determined that the step stools failed the vertical static load test and broke. This indicated that the products could lead to sudden breakage and accidents.
The Ministry of Trade announced that the sale of these products, which do not comply with safety standards, has been banned and that existing products will be recalled. Consumers can access such announcements via the Unsafe Product Notification System and check whether their products are safe.
