Ministry prepares 3,295 TL support budget for families

Social Economic Support (SED) is a support program that operates to contribute to the education of children from low-income families. This program works to increase the quality of education and the welfare level of children. While the program aims to improve educational opportunities for children to support social development, it also helps to alleviate the economic difficulties of families.

SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT DECEMBER

Under the SED program, financial support is provided to low-income and needy families throughout December. These payments are delivered to families via PTT.

Those who wish to participate in the SED program can make their applications via E-Devlet. However, during the application process, certain documents such as the following must be submitted completely:

• Identity number
• Health report
• Documents of participation in İŞKUR and vocational courses

SED payments vary according to the education levels of the children. The support amounts are as follows:

• Preschool children: 2,059.99 TL
• Primary school-aged children: 3,090.00 TL
• Middle school-aged children: 3,295.99 TL
• Middle school-aged children who are not in school: 2,059.99 TL
• Higher education-level students: 3,708.00 TL
• Youth leaving institutional care: 1,648.00 TL
