Proposal granting 5,000 TL to working retirees passes Parliament
The article regarding the one-time payment of a 5,000 TL bonus to working retirees has been accepted in the General Assembly of Parliament.
Article 55 of the omnibus bill regarding the economy, which envisages granting 5,000 Turkish Lira to working retirees, has been accepted during deliberations in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.
LEGISLATIVE PROPOSAL ACCEPTED
During the General Assembly session chaired by AKP Şanlıurfa Deputy Bekir Bozdağ, as deliberations continued on the omnibus bill containing regulations regarding the economy and the one-time payment of 5,000 Turkish Lira to working retirees, the proposal to grant 5,000 TL to working retirees passed Parliament.
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that the bonus would be paid to working retirees as soon as possible after its publication in the Official Gazette.
