September elderly and disability support payments have begun
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that 7.1 billion liras in support payments for elderly and disabled citizens have begun for the month of September.
Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated in her announcement that they have developed various social assistance programs to ensure the full participation of disabled and elderly individuals in society and to support their independent lives. Expressing that these programs are carried out within the framework of human-centered and rights-based policies, Göktaş announced that a total of 7.1 billion liras in payments for September have been deposited into accounts.
Göktaş said, "We have begun depositing a total of 7.1 billion liras into accounts for September, consisting of 4 billion liras in elderly pensions and 3.1 billion liras in disability pensions. I wish these payments to be beneficial to all our citizens." The Ministry emphasized that elderly and disabled individuals will continue to be supported in areas such as education, health, and social life.
