Apple to charge for artificial intelligence application
It has been suggested that Apple may charge users for its artificial intelligence application. Analysts, noting that investments in artificial intelligence are costly, stated that Apple will likely pass these expenses on to its users.
Technology giant Apple is preparing to launch its artificial intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, in the near future. The company plans to make it available on certain devices toward the end of 2024.
As reported by NTV, this artificial intelligence system, which was announced in June, promises features such as automatic email and image generation, in addition to improvements to Siri.
TO BE OFFERED GRADUALLY
It was noted that these features will be offered gradually and that regions such as China and Europe will not have access initially.
"MAY CHARGE A SUBSCRIPTION FEE"
According to analysts speaking to CNBC, it has been suggested that Apple may charge a subscription fee for more advanced applications.
Counterpoint Research analysts stated that the investment made in artificial intelligence is costly and that Apple will pass this expense on to its users.
The analysts said, "Software and services make it more profitable for Apple to pass this on through the Apple One subscription model."
Apple One, which costs 19.95 dollars per month, provides users with access to various Apple services, including Apple Music.
"MAY CHARGE A FEE BETWEEN 10-20 DOLLARS"
Analysts stated that Apple could charge a fee between 10 and 20 dollars for access to Apple Intelligence as part of the Apple One package for premium artificial intelligence features.
