In the research, in addition to special camera software, videos were created in colors such as blue, green, red, and ultraviolet. These videos were then modified according to how animals see, and the obtained data was converted into video.

The researchers proved that, as predicted, every animal perceives colors differently.

According to the scientists who made the discovery, "The camera and associated software package will allow environmental scientists to investigate how animals use colors in dynamic environments, how natural light sources change color perception, and other questions that have remained unanswered until now due to the lack of suitable tools."

The study states, "Every animal has a unique set of photoreceptors with sensitivities ranging from ultraviolet to infrared, adapted to its ecological needs. Furthermore, many animals can perceive polarized light. As a result, every animal perceives color differently."
