This situation reveals that the marine life of the Bahamas, which appears clean and healthy from the outside, is actually under an invisible threat of pollution.

Scientists have warned that the detected chemicals could endanger the balance of the ecosystem and the health of marine life in the long term.

It is stated that these human-derived substances accumulating in the bodies of sharks could also be passed on to other living creatures through the food chain.
