Meta hires key engineer from Apple to gain an edge in the AI race

Ruoming Pang has made waves in the tech world by starting her new role at Meta. According to Bloomberg, the compensation package prepared for Pang's new position at Meta will exceed 200 million dollars. This package includes performance-based stock and incentive payments in addition to a base salary. This figure surpasses the salaries of all employees at the company, with the exception of Apple CEO Tim Cook.
