Smartphone photography taken to space with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra!

Samsung has taken smartphone photography to the stratosphere with its Galaxy S24 Ultra model.

According to the company's statement, more than 150 extraordinary photos were captured across a vast geography from Los Angeles to the Sierra Nevada during the shoot conducted with Galaxy S24 Ultras sent into the stratosphere.

Thanks to its 200 MP camera and the zoom capability of its ultra-wide-angle lens, the Galaxy S24 Ultra provides clarity and color accuracy in images taken from a distance with the support of artificial intelligence.

This historic mission by Samsung consisted of a series of carefully planned and meticulously executed steps.

Each Galaxy S24 Ultra was mounted on a specially designed carbon fiber frame and prepared to reach the Earth's stratosphere. This frame ensured the device was protected against the harsh conditions of the stratosphere while also providing an ideal angle for its 200 MP camera and ultra-wide-angle lens to capture impressive landscapes. The launch was carried out using a light yet powerful stratospheric balloon, and each device reached an altitude of approximately 36,576 meters above the Earth.

During the journey, the Galaxy S24 Ultras photographed various natural and urban landscapes along programmed mission routes, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. At the end of the mission, the balloons were safely deflated, and each device returned to Earth in a controlled manner with the help of parachutes.
