Whatsapp without internet is coming

Twitter founder Jack Dorsey has announced Bitchat, a new messaging application that can work without the internet. This innovative app uses a Bluetooth mesh network to establish chain connections between devices, making it possible to send messages even at distances exceeding 300 meters.

Bitchat operates without the need for a central server and does not request any personal information from its users. With these features, it distinguishes itself from existing messaging applications by maximizing privacy.

The application encrypts messages end-to-end, allowing access only to the sender and the recipient. Additionally, with a "panic mode," users can instantly delete all their data with three taps.

To enrich the user experience, "rooms" can be created in Bitchat, and these rooms can be protected with a password. Users can gather around specific topics and invite other users via tagging. Featured messages can also be added to favorites for later access.

After leaving Twitter, Jack Dorsey focused on decentralized social media projects. Currently serving as the CEO of the company Block, Dorsey is taking his vision of decentralized digital communication one step further with Bitchat.
