X imposes posting restrictions on users without blue checks

Social media platform X has made changes to usage limits for unverified accounts. With the new implementation, the daily posting limit for users without a blue check has been reduced.

DAILY POSTING LIMIT SET TO 50

According to the regulation made by the platform, unverified accounts will now be able to make a maximum of 50 original posts per day. While the number of daily replies users can provide is limited to 200, the number of direct messages that can be sent has been set at 500.

Additionally, the daily follow limit has been restricted to 400 accounts.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS MAY BE APPLIED FOR INTENSIVE USAGE

Under the new system, not only daily limits but also usage intensity within specific time intervals will be taken into account. It was stated that temporary access restrictions could be applied to unverified accounts that make a large number of posts in a short period of time.

It was noted that users who post intensively, especially within a half-hour period, may be temporarily blocked by the system.

POSTING WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE ONCE THE LIMIT IS EXCEEDED

In the event that the determined daily posting limit is exceeded, users will not be able to create new posts. Error messages similar to "post could not be sent" or "usage limit exceeded" will be displayed by the system.

To remove these restrictions or increase the limits, users are required to purchase an X Premium subscription to verify their accounts.
