1 million euro bonus from Hakan Safi to the national team
Ahead of the A National Football Team's 2026 World Cup journey, former Fenerbahçe executive Hakan Safi announced that he will provide a 1 million Euro bonus if the crescent-star team qualifies for the tournament.
The A National Football Team will play a critical match away against Kosovo in the 2026 World Cup Play-Off final. The team that emerges victorious from this match will secure a ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
Before the big match, former Fenerbahçe executive Hakan Safi took a new step to boost the morale of the national team. Safi informed the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) that he would provide a total of 1 million Euros in bonuses to the athletes and technical staff if the crescent-stars qualify for the World Cup.
The TFF management welcomed Hakan Safi's offer. According to information received from the institution, federation officials expressed their happiness regarding the increase in financial and moral support for the national team.
Stating that he supports the national team under all circumstances, Hakan Safi said, "I will always be by the side of our crescent-star team and my support will continue."
