10 clubs from the Super Lig referred to the PFDK
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Legal Consultancy has referred 10 clubs from the Trendyol Super Lig to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK).
In the statement made by the TFF, it was noted that Kocaelispor, Samsunspor, Fenerbahçe, and Kasımpaşa were referred to the board due to ugly and improper chanting; Galatasaray was referred due to ugly and improper chanting as well as unsportsmanlike conduct by the team following six of its players receiving yellow cards; and Beşiktaş was referred due to incidents on the pitch and actions contrary to instructions.
Gençlerbirliği and Eyüpspor were referred to the board for actions contrary to instructions, while Antalyaspor was referred because six of its players received yellow cards. It was also noted that RAMS Başakşehir Club and club president Göksel Gümüşdağ were sent to the disciplinary board due to social media posts deemed to damage the reputation of football.
