8 players cut from Beşiktaş squad
Beşiktaş manager Sergen Yalçın is making radical changes to the squad for the new season. It has been learned that 8 players are not in the team's plans and have been asked to find new clubs.
Preparations for the upcoming season with the goal of winning the championship have begun, and planning for 2026-2027 has gained momentum at Beşiktaş. Manager Sergen Yalçın, who wants to build a squad that will carry the team to new goals, has decided to part ways with some names at the end of the season.
According to a report by Sabah, the Beşiktaş management has reviewed the status of a total of 11 players who were sent out on loan to different teams throughout the season. It is expected that only 3 of these players will not return to the club, as the clubs they were loaned to are expected to exercise their purchase options. It is stated that Trabzonspor will activate the option to sign Ernest Muçi, Cagliari for Semih Kılıçsoy, and Hull City for Amir Hadziahmetovic, and that the Black Eagles will generate a total income of 23.5 million Euros from these deals.
On the other hand, Al-Musrati, Jean Onana, and Joao Mario are not expected to remain at the clubs where they are currently playing on loan, as those clubs are not expected to exercise their purchase options. Thus, there is a possibility that these players will return to the black-and-white team.
However, the changes Sergen Yalçın is planning for the squad are not limited to players on loan. In addition to Al-Musrati, Jean Onana, and Joao Mario, Elan Ricardo, Can Keleş, Tayyip Talha Sanuç, Emrecan Uzunhan, and Emrecan Terzi have also been listed among the players who will not be in next season's squad.
It has been noted that a total of 8 players have been asked by the club to find new teams and that Beşiktaş intends to part ways with these names. It is stated that the club management aims to gain financial benefits from the sale or loan of these players during the summer transfer window.
