A gesture to remember from Serdar Dursun to a young fan

A meaningful gesture came from the experienced footballer to young fan Ertuğrul, who tried to record Serdar Dursun's penalty goal during the match Kocaelispor played against Göztepe using an old-style phone. The duo, who met the other day, first went shopping at the Kocaelispor club store.

Later, Serdar Dursun wanted to gift the young fan a phone, but his family declined the offer, stating that he was too young. Upon this, Dursun gifted Ertuğrul a camera in addition to various Kocaelispor merchandise. Ertuğrul came to the facilities today, met the players, and took photos of them with his new camera.

Stating that he visited Ertuğrul at his school before the boy came to the facilities, Serdar Dursun said, "You know, there was a Göztepe match recently. When there was a last-minute penalty situation, our brother Ertuğrul had recorded me on his grandfather's phone from behind the goal. Then this incident went a bit viral on social media. I had left a comment. Then I said, come to the facility on Tuesday evening. Before he came to the facility, we went and found him. We went to his school yesterday afternoon.

We gave Ertuğrul a nice surprise, he was very happy. We met his teacher, his principal, everyone. We gave him small gifts. From there, we took Ertuğrul to the store, and he picked out some nice items for himself," he said.

Explaining that they did not buy a phone because Ertuğrul is young, and instead gifted him a video camera, Serdar Dursun added, "I spoke with his family, and they said that a phone wouldn't be logical at this age. I am of the same opinion; he is only 10 years old, still young. Because of that, I bought him a nice video camera. He can record plenty with it. From now on, he can film my goals and Kocaelispor's goals. It will be good for his own life too; maybe he could even become a cameraman in the future. I hope we have made Ertuğrul happy. He will be our guest at the next match and will participate in our ceremony. He came to the facility today, got close with the players one-on-one, took photos, and shot some nice videos. We are happy to have such valuable young people."
