A surprise development has occurred ahead of the Ordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting at Fenerbahçe. It was reported that presidential candidate Ali Koç made an offer to Acun Ilıcalı.

According to the report by Sports Digitale Editor-in-Chief Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, it was noted that Acun Ilıcalı responded positively to Ali Koç's offer and agreed to be included in the board of directors list.

Two candidates will compete for the presidency at Fenerbahçe. Presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım's promise of Mourinho had caused a great stir. It was stated that current President Ali Koç will also include Acun Ilıcalı in his board of directors list.

The presidential election at Fenerbahçe will be held on May 30 - 31, 2024, or on June 8 - 9, 2024, if a sufficient majority is not reached.
