Adanaspor Manager Sol Bamba has passed away
Adanaspor, a team in the Trendyol 1st League, announced that manager Sol Bamba has passed away in Manisa.
In a statement released by the orange-and-white club, it was stated: "Our manager, Souleymane Bamba, who fell ill before yesterday's match against Manisa Football Club, was taken to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hospital, where he unfortunately lost his battle for life. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and our entire community."
HE HAD BEEN HOSPITALIZED
Sol Bamba had fallen ill before the Manisa FK match due to a recurrence of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, which he was first diagnosed with in January 2021, and was taken to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hospital.
STATEMENT FROM THE TFF
Following Bamba's passing, the TFF announced that a moment of silence would be observed. The statement included the following:
"In memory of Souleymane Bamba, a 1-minute moment of silence will be observed before all professional matches to be played this week."
