Ali Koç announces! 'A tournament for earthquake survivors'

Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç said that a charity tournament could be organized for citizens affected by the earthquakes that occurred in our country on February 6.

Ali Koç said, "We have all done good work in the earthquake zone within the framework of our own resources. Tents, then container cities, and now permanent housing. The first anniversary of this pain is 20-21 days away. Following the matches that week, if possible on February 5, we want to organize a nice tournament and event with veterans of the big teams in Istanbul and nationally recognized players who have recently retired from football, and transfer the proceeds to the earthquake zone."

Ali Koç also added, "We will not forget our citizens there, and we will not let them be forgotten. We spoke with the TFF just a little while ago. I hope we can carry out this organization with unity and cooperation. Who knows, it might be so successful that it becomes a tradition. We are starting to work on this from now on."

"ISTANBUL CUP TOURNAMENT"

AK Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Murat Kurum, who visited Fenerbahçe, stated, "Istanbul will be the center of sports and brotherhood. We will work to spread this law of brotherhood to all our clubs. Every year in Istanbul, we have a cup that we previously knew as the TSYD Cup. All our clubs used to participate before the season. As the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, we will organize an Istanbul Cup tournament every year. Our Istanbul clubs will play matches here in terms of season preparations. We will prepare for the season together with all Istanbulites."
