Former Fenerbahçe Club president Ali Koç has denied reports claiming that he withdrew 360 million TL he had provided to the club.
Making a statement on the matter via his social media account, Koç said, "The news reports appearing in the press about me, titled 'He withdrew 360 million liras of the debt he provided to Fenerbahçe,' are completely baseless and do not reflect the truth.
Our club's financial structure is regularly audited by independent auditing firms; all income-expenditure items, receivables, and debts are transparently open to the public and shared with our general assembly members.
I kindly request that no credence be given to such manipulative news reports that attempt to mislead our community by distorting financial statements," he stated.
