Anadolu Efes defeats Barcelona at home!

In the 22nd week of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Anadolu Efes defeated Spanish representative Barcelona 98-74 at home.

Starting the match with a 6-0 run fueled by consecutive baskets from Pleiss, the blue-and-white team finished the first quarter leading 18-13, having executed well in the paint.

Throughout the second quarter, Barcelona utilized Hernangomez effectively in the paint, taking the lead for the first time in the 16th minute: 29-31. Tightening their defense late in the period and with Larkin stepping up on offense, Anadolu Efes headed to the locker room with a 42-39 lead.

For most of the third period, both teams continued to score by attacking the paint. With Beaubois and Larkin finding success from three-point range, the blue-and-whites extended the lead late in the quarter, entering the final period ahead by 12 points at 72-60.

Starting the final period quickly, Anadolu Efes widened the gap further to finish the match with a 24-point victory, 98-74.

Beaubois was the architect of the win for Anadolu Efes with 21 points. Hernangomez's 18 points for the Spanish side could not prevent the defeat.

With this result, Anadolu Efes secured their 9th win. Barcelona, losing after a four-game winning streak, suffered their 7th defeat.
