Antalyaspor starts Ziraat Turkish Cup with 3 goals
Antalyaspor and Kocaelispor faced off in the match played during the first week of the Ziraat Turkish Cup Group D.
In the match played at Corendon Airlines Park, Antalyaspor defeated Kocaelispor 3-1 at home, starting the group stage with a victory.
The goals that brought the 3 points to the Mediterranean team were scored by Mehmet Yılmaz (own goal) in the 9th minute, Braian Samudio in the 18th minute, and Bahadır Öztürk in the 69th minute.
The only goal for the green-and-blacks in the match came from Markao in the 90+1st minute.
With this victory, Antalyaspor reached 3 points and took the top spot in the group on goal difference, while Kocaelispor remained without any points.
In the second week of the cup, Antalyaspor will face Bodrum FK away, while Kocaelispor will host Sivasspor.
