Arda Güler makes tournament history once again
Young Turkish football star Arda Güler made his mark on EURO 2024 history following the match against the Netherlands.
The Turkish National Football Team faced the Netherlands in the EURO 2024 quarter-finals.
The national team finished the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal by Samet Akaydin, but were unable to stop the Netherlands' goals in the second half, leaving the pitch with a 2-1 defeat.
Arda Güler, who provided the assist for Samet Akaydin's goal, became the 4th player under the age of 21 in European Championship history to record more than 1 assist.
