Following Turan's potential departure, candidates for the new manager position at Eyüpspor have already come to the fore. The names of Albert Riera, Andrea Pirlo, and Fabio Cannavaro are being discussed at the Istanbul club.
Eyüpspor Vice President Fatih Kulaksız, in his statement regarding the matter, had said, "It wasn't just Shakhtar Donetsk; there has been interest in Arda Turan from several important clubs in Europe.
