Aziz Yıldırım had said 25 billion TL: Fenerbahçe's debt announced

The Fenerbahçe Extraordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting is being held at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex. During the general assembly, the activity report was read by Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Çağlan Kızılhan.

Kızılhan presented the club's activities covering the period from March 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025, to the congress members. The audit committee report for the same period was presented by Financial Affairs Director Çağdaş Koçak.

Providing information regarding financial actions, Koçak said, "We closed 74 million Euros of factoring debt. We converted 145 million Dollars and 110 million Euros of foreign currency loans into TL before the pandemic. We restructured our 97 million Euro short-term loans. We exited the UEFA Financial Fair Play settlement agreement."

Koçak, who also provided information with examples regarding exchange rate and inflation increases, decreases in broadcasting revenues, athlete income taxes, financial restructuring, and tax payments, stated that their goal, in line with the Banks Association process, real estate project processes, SPK process, and these resources, is to achieve Fenerbahçe's financial independence in a very short time.

Fenerbahçe Supervisory Board Chairman Mehmet Vodina also provided information about the financial statements for the periods of 01.03.2024 - 31.05.2024 and 01.06.2024 - 31.05.2025. Vodina stated that the total debt as of May 31, 2025, was 21 billion 526 million TL.

AZİZ YILDIRIM HAD SAID "25 BILLION TL"

Former president Aziz Yıldırım had said at the previous Fenerbahçe Sports Club Ordinary High Council meeting, "Look, the debt of Fenerbahçe Sports Club is 25 billion. They are not explaining this. There is an election in two months, they are not explaining it. Come and explain this."
