Aziz Yıldırım makes statement following derby defeat
Former Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım denied statements attributed to him on social media, saying, "The current negative situation will certainly change, and we will meet in better days. Although we are saddened today, our hope is for Fenerbahçe to recover as soon as possible."
Former Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım issued a written statement denying claims written on social media using his name.
Yıldırım stated, "In some social media channels, there are false statements that have not come out of my mouth and could not possibly have. I was born a Fenerbahçe fan,
and I will be a Fenerbahçe fan until I die, in good times and bad.

My request to our fans is not to give credence to false statements spread using my name for the sake of gaining engagement" he said.
