Aziz Yıldırım: 'The statements circulating on social media are lies!'
Former Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım has denied statements attributed to him that have been circulating on social media.
Former Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım has issued a statement regarding remarks attributed to him that have been circulating on social media.
In his statement, Yıldırım said, "The statements appearing on social media today, which have an unknown source and are presented as if they came from me, containing foolish sentences, are lies. I have not made any new statements since my last press release. I request that no credence be given to such manipulative statements."
Furthermore, the following statements were included in Yıldırım's last press release:
"I have carefully followed the statements made today by Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek. While I ask him to search for 'FETÖ-member club' on Google to see which club appears, I also advise him to search for the terms 'yellow-navy blue wall', 'what match-fixing, the country is slipping away', and 'they were going to stage a civilian coup with 50,000 people', and to examine the results that appear. I also advise this President to read the Match-Fixing Conspiracy Indictments, the FETÖ Main Case, the Selam Tevhit and Ergenekon Conspiracy Indictments, the opinions of the Supreme Court of Appeals Prosecutor's Office, and the July 15 booklet published on the Presidential website, and to share what he understands from them with the public."
