Aziz Yıldırım: We want Fenerbahçe to be successful

Attending the ceremony held for the opening of the Fenerbahçe Volunteers Association İzmir Branch, Aziz Yıldırım made statements to journalists after cutting the opening ribbon.

Wishing the newly opened association branch well, Yıldırım continued his remarks as follows:

"Fenerbahçe needs to be in unity and solidarity; there should be no division. Division harms the club, it harms the community. You will see the damages of this in the future. You may not see anything today, but in 5 or 10 years, you will see them. When division begins, unity and solidarity disappear. A Fenerbahçe fan starts fighting with another Fenerbahçe fan. This is a very dangerous thing, which is why unity and solidarity are important for all of us."

AZIZ YILDIRIM: "ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT FENERBAHÇE'S SUCCESS IS DISHONORABLE"

Stating that everyone should want Fenerbahçe's success, Yıldırım assessed, "Anyone who does not want Fenerbahçe's success, who says 'they don't exist, I exist' or whatever, they are dishonorable. Look, I am saying this very harshly. Fenerbahçe's success and happiness belong to us all. Its failure is also ours, but we are not as saddened as those who manage it, because we are fans. We experience the event and forget it by morning, but it is not like that for an administrator. That sadness or other incidents continue for them."

Noting that children are no longer becoming Fenerbahçe fans, Yıldırım said, "We must stop this. We must fight together, it must be done, Fenerbahçe must win. Fenerbahçe today, I mean, this referee did this, that referee did that, these things have existed since the founding of Fenerbahçe, since the War of Independence; in the 1930s, the club was brought to the point of closure. So, these things have always been in Fenerbahçe's history. Because Fenerbahçe is a community that is a leader in society. Naturally, there will be those who want to wear it down and destroy it."

Stating that the "1 million members" goal is very important, Yıldırım noted the following:

"I will explain in the future, look, I will give speeches, but not today. Today, Fenerbahçe has no presidential problem or any other problem. Fenerbahçe has only one problem: success. We currently have a chance to become champions. The Conference League, they are swearing an oath in the conference. We have a chance to win that. We need to unite and win these two. We can fight afterwards. Fighting is easy. It is very easy for us."

"IF SUPPORT IS NEEDED, WE WILL PROVIDE IT"

Explaining that anger and resentment should not come before being a Fenerbahçe fan, Yıldırım stated, "We are Fenerbahçe fans, we want its success. It must be successful. If support is needed for this, we will provide it. This support does not come from shouting or yelling or anything else. It also comes with a stance."
